I've earned a degree! Thank you notes are done; my first Christmas in retail is done; I've finished my first inventory in retail; I've kind of been promoted; and I have a lot of time on my hands... and I mean a LOT!
Post-graduate life is odd to say the least. You never really realize how all consuming acadamia can be when you're in the thick of it. I've gone from having no life because of school to absolutely no life since all I have now is work with no school. It has given me time to catch up on things around the house et cetera. It's also given me time to start side hustles and set new goals for myself as well so it's not all bad. I jsut don't feel as though I'm accomplishing enough I guess.
I do have a pretty rock solid relationship with my television now though. Of course there are my usual favs, but I'm just now falling in love with Dance Moms and French Food at Home. I am also pretty smitten with My Big Redneck Vacation and The Supersizers... Go!
I'm also attempting to coax myself back into the notion of reading for leasure... that's not going so well. However, the idea of learning a new instrument in my spare time is becoming quit alluring. I'm leaning towards the ukeleli. Working out with more regularity is definitely a plus. I've also been sewing more and definitely plan on focusing energy into that because let's be honest, I need to work on my portfolio for Grad School. I think I've also come up with something to blog about with some mild regularity.... So, since I read a million magazines a month I'm thinking about doing a monthly magazine mash up... I'm thinking of throwing a last minute first run together for March and posting it tomorrow, which I know is last minute but in the future I'd post when the first magazine for a new month came in and then updating that one post with each new magazine. In theory atleast. So stay tuned and tomorrow we'll see what happens... someone might comment : )
Anywhoo I'm off to flip through some periodicals and lie and tell myself that I might go to the gym later when it's a little less crowded... and then not go...
