Progress?

So I'm giving up on the mag mash... obvi. In fact I'm giving up on preconceiving any "regular" post. My organic rambling should be sufficiently amusing on their own. However, I guess you might want to know something about me to know why I might be worth the read in the first place.  I'm a product of the best city in the world, New Orleans. I was raised and currently reside in the over the mountain area of Birmingham. I had an abnormal but fairly privileged up bringing. I often get described as quirky, eclectic, and energetic.  I enjoy learning and trying new things. I have a B.S. in Fashion Merchandising with Business and Theatre minors. I originally majored in Costume Design and even took a tangent and did a semester in Horticulture. I have been sewing since the age of four. I adore fashion; especially couture and vintage. I work in retail and love my job. I aspire to design one day. Between now and then I hope to acquire a Masters in Fashion Design or Luxury Goods Management. I have a huge love for dance, theatre, music, philanthropic work  and sports; all fields in which I've more than dabbled.  I've also done a fairly decent amount of swimsuit and promotional modeling. I've often been compared to a doll oddly enough hence the moniker. When not at work I'm busy being domestic, working out, embarking on new ventures, and creating things. I'm a tv junkie! I have a pretty serious magazine addiction. I am hands down the worlds best shopper. I have a rather entreprenurial spirit. I'm also slowly beginning to work on my portfolio for Grad school.  My hope for this blog is to entertain you and help me chronicle things in my world. Of course all while being fairly vague about it all. You can definitely expect my opinion on seemingly completely unrelated things. However it all makes sense to me.  So stay tuned. Things are slowly improving on this whole blog front.  MTH
