Classic
A month ish back I had decided to grow my nails out so I could try this claw nail thing out while it's still a trend. Nails have increasingly been an integral part of completing a style over the past few years. If you're in to statistics, the nail sector of the beauty industry has been all boom, all across the board. Which brings me back to claw nails. Unfortunately, one of my nails split right above the nail bed, which clearly meant I had to go a different way.
I am rather lengthy when it comes to the discernment process however. Having a lot of options in the way of polish did not make the ordeal any easier. When it comes to doing my nails I always find myself stumbling on the same decision making process. Namely what look, style, color will go with the majority of my outfits for the foreseeable life of the polish? Classic conundrum, n'est-ce pas?
It's then I felt the proverbial Gibb's smack on the back of the head. It's a common problem with a common answer. If anything I've learned from years of pageants/modeling is go with the classics. They exist for a reason, right? If you find yourself like I often times do, wasting too much time trying to pick a color, go with either French or a classic shade of red or pink. It goes with everything. Plus it is extremely handy if you want your nails to look sharp and and not clash with a bunch a of "costume changes" say for like a getaway weekend.
And that my friends is a tip from me.
